Your general dentist in Woodbridge, VA
A general dentist looks after the health of your whole mouth: regular exams and cleanings, X-rays, fillings, gum care and the treatment that keeps small problems from becoming large ones. At 703 Dental, our general dentistry service is the starting point for every patient, from young children to grandparents.
Our Woodbridge office on Minnieville Road has been providing general dentistry to Prince William County for over 20 years. We use digital X-rays, which need far less radiation than film, and 3D CBCT imaging when a closer look is needed. Most of the care you might need, including crowns, root canals, extractions and dentures, is done in the same office by the same team.
We recommend a checkup and cleaning every six months for most adults and children. Patients with gum disease or a higher risk of cavities may benefit from visits every three or four months. We will tell you which schedule suits you.

Step by step
What happens at your first visit
A new-patient visit takes about an hour.
Step 1
Welcome
We review your medical history, any concerns and your insurance, in English or Spanish.
Step 2
X-rays
Digital X-rays show cavities between teeth, bone levels and problems hidden below the gum.
Step 3
Exam and cleaning
Dr. Ali checks every tooth, your gums, bite and soft tissue. A cleaning removes plaque and tartar.
Step 4
Your plan
You get a clear treatment plan, with priorities and a written estimate for anything needed.
General dentistry cost and insurance
Most PPO dental insurance plans cover preventive care such as exams, cleanings and X-rays at or near 100 percent. We accept all major PPO plans, Virginia Medicaid, FAMIS and Medicare Advantage dental benefits, and we verify your coverage before your appointment.
If you do not have insurance, our membership plan covers your cleanings, exams and X-rays for a flat yearly fee and discounts other treatment. Larger treatment can be spread out with payment plans.
Why families choose 703 Dental as their general dentist
Dr. Bilal Ali, DDS, founded 703 Dental around 2004 and still leads treatment at the Woodbridge office. He graduated at the top of his class from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. His approach is to explain what he sees, show you on the screen and let you decide on the next step without pressure.
We are accepting new patients, offer free consultations, keep same-day time for emergencies and have a bilingual team. 703 Dental is rated 4.9 from 423 Google reviews by patients from Woodbridge, Dale City, Lake Ridge, Montclair, Occoquan, Dumfries and Triangle.
